Limited Warranty

Information about Custom iPhones’ 90 Day Limited Warranty and 14 Day Limited Warranty.

90 Day Limited Warranty

Your service of products requested through Custom iPhones may come with our 90 Day Limited Warranty. We guarantee our service, including replacement parts, for ninety (90) days. This is in addition to your rights provided by consumer law.

Using this limited warranty, Custom iPhones warrants:

(1) That the repairs will be performed in a competent and workmanlike manner and,
(2) That all parts used to repair your product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days, unless otherwise specified by Custom iPhones.

Coverage

If a defect exists in a replacement part during the parts warranty period, at its option, Custom iPhone will:

(1) Repair the part using new, used, or reconditioned replacement parts at cost to you,
(2) Replace the part with a new, used, or reconditioned equivalent parts at cost to you, or,
(3) Refund the fair market value of the part, as determined by Custom iPhones.

To the extent permitted by law this warranty and remedy are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied, with respect to the repair parts. To the extent permitted by law, Custom iPhones specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties with respect to such parts, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

If Custom iPhones cannot lawfully disclaim implied warranties under this limited warranty, all such warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of the express limited warranty.

Your product is not covered under these terms:

(1) If the product has damage caused by abuse, misuse, misapplication, either accidentally, or wilfully,
(2) If the product has been confirmed to have liquid damage or logic board damage,
(3) The product has been examined, diagnosed, or serviced by any third-party service providers, including Apple Inc.,
(4) If Custom iPhones cannot complete functional testing prior to, or after service, or,
(5) Your product underwent logic board repair, liquid damage repair, or data recovery.

This limited warranty is not offered on parts that are not directly related to the service carried out on the product.

14 Day Limited Warranty

If your product is not covered under the 90 Day Limited Warranty, your product may come with our 14 Day Limited Warranty. We guarantee our service, including replacement parts, for fourteen (14) days. This is in addition to your rights provided by consumer law.

With this limited warranty, Custom iPhones warrants:

(1) That the repairs will be performed in a competent and workmanlike manner and,
(2) That all parts used to repair your product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of fourteen (14) days, unless otherwise specified by Custom iPhones.

Coverage

Your product is not covered under these terms:

(1) If the product has damage caused by abuse, misuse, misapplication, either accidentally, or wilfully,
(2) If the product has been confirmed to have liquid damage or logic board damage,

Eligibility

For your service of products to be eligible for limited warranty, you are required to provide the following information:

(1) Personal information, such as full name, phone number, email address, and mailing address,
(2) Product information, such as product serial numbers, IMEI, model numbers, and device passcodes,
(3) Proof of purchase, such as a service receipt, receipt of payment, or invoice.

You agree and understand that it is necessary for Custom iPhones to collect, process, and use your data in order to process sales, perform service, and confirm compliance with applicable laws.

Once your service of products has been paid in full, you accept the return of your product and acknowledge that the product has been received in fully functional and working condition.

Replacement parts that Custom iPhones provides as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used parts that have been tested and pass functional requirements.

Information on your product’s parts warranty may be obtained by contacting Custom iPhones on (02) 6145 2808. The warranty on parts is an express limited warranty. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
